The good news is that Bungie will be dropping a lot of new information regarding the game during a special livestream showcase, which is scheduled to start just before the new season. Like in the past, Guardians should be prepared for some patchy service as Season 18 begins on August 23. This could be due to the large number of players trying to do the same thing at the same time or because background maintenance will still be ongoing. This is because players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues.
